Massoud plays a key role in Shawmut’s delivery of world-class construction services. He offers seasoned experience and an abundance of subcontractor resources to teams. Drawing on his years of preconstruction experience, Massoud embeds himself with Shawmut’s estimating and project management teams to review scope, schedule, and initial logistics. By forging a strong foundation in the earliest days of the project, he enables timely and well-run projects throughout their duration. Massoud also aids the set up and execution of projects through his strong relationship with unions and subcontractors that he has built in the region thanks to his frequent collaboration and constant communication with the base he has built for Shawmut.
As leader of Purchasing for Shawmut’s entire West Region, David Nisbett provides tactical and strategic continuity between the preconstruction and construction operations sides of the company. His all-encompassing managerial position requires him to act as key liaison for all new and existing subcontractor relationships for the company. This includes prequalification/risk evaluation, dispute/resolution oversight, subcontractor and supplier contracts development and execution, and subcontractor performance and capacity appraisal. Additionally, David’s keen understanding of subcontractor procurement and operations has led to his insightful and direct involvement in the evolution of Shawmut’s subcontractor safety program.
